How are the PRP injections performed?

The PRP injection process typically involves several steps. First, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient. The blood is then processed in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components. The concentrated PRP is collected and prepared for injection. Your provider will then use a fine needle to carefully inject the PRP into the targeted area.
Is PRP injection a painful procedure?

Most people tolerate PRP injections well. Prior to the injection, a local anesthetic or numbing cream may be applied to minimize discomfort. The procedure itself typically causes only mild to moderate discomfort, similar to that of a standard injection.
